This week, I have been working on my fifth beat story: the 14th annual High Point Holiday Stroll. The parade happened this past Saturday, Dec. 2. I will be creating a multimedia story for this final beat report. For my multimedia elements, I plan on creating a map/graph for the locations and sponsors that contributed to the stroll. I also will put together a picture slideshow of images from the event to add visual appeal. I was able to get a few good quotes and interviews from people at the parade. I will add in quotes from a High Point community member, Giselle Regalado, who attended this event with her children and dog. I also had interviews with two HPU students who participated in the stroll. I will also be talking to owners of businesses who donated and sponsored the event.
